Sasha – piano and cello teacher

Sasha is a classically trained pianist and cellist with a flexible approach to teaching that’s based on individual needs.  She is friendly, enthusiastic and conscientious with professional experience of supporting children and young people in education and welfare contexts.  Sasha’s style of teaching maintains structure for progression whilst allowing space to develop a student’s individual musicality, enjoyment of the instrument and satisfaction of repertoire. Sasha has been playing the piano and cello for 15 years and has plenty of performance experience, including at the Royal Albert Hall, touring abroad with orchestras, as well as more informal pop/ folk/ rock gigs.  She enjoys playing weekly with the University of Sussex Symphony Orchestra and is in a folk band.”
