Sarah is a friendly and enthusiastic tutor who enjoys the challenge of teaching young players. She believes that making music should, first and foremost, be an enjoyable experience, and that fostering technique and musicianship can help to ensure this. With both parents being music teachers, Sarah is passionate about the important role of music in a child’s development, but has enjoyed music outreach with both young and old.
With DipABRSM in both flute and piano, Sarah is an experienced solo and orchestral player. She is currently the principal flautist of the Oxford University Orchestra and also holds a choral scholarship at The Queen’s College, Oxford, where she is studying for a BA in Music.
