Caroline – piano and violin teacher

Caroline is an experienced violin teacher in Oxford, having taught both one-on-one and group instrumental lessons in primary schools across Essex and Newham.  By tailoring her lessons to suit each individual, Caroline is able to focus on the pupil’s interests and help them achieve their goals. Through her encouraging approach, pupils will gain confidence in their playing and greatly enjoy the music they create. They will gain a sound understanding of the techniques they need to excel in their instrument.

She holds an LTCL Diploma in violin performance, Grade 8 piano and Grade 8 music theory. Caroline is currently reading music at University of Oxford, where she holds a Camerata string scholarship.

Caroline performs regularly, both as a soloist and in ensembles such as the Oxford University Orchestra, Ensemble ISIS and the St. Anne’s Camerata. She led the Essex Youth Orchestra from 2017- 2019, was a member of the National Youth Chamber Orchestra, led the Essex Youth String Quartet and has frequently played as a guest soloist with choirs such as Grammaticus and Swift Singers. Caroline has played in pit orchestras for various theatre productions.
