Nicola – violin teacher

Nicola completed her performance studies at the RSAMD in 2005, graduating with a BA Hons degree and Advanced Education; with specialisms in Strings teaching and Applied Community Music. During her final year she won the John McInnulty Prize for Orchestral String Playing .

She has taught for the last 11 years and is experienced in group and individual tuition from the ages of 4 to 72. She coaches ensembles such as Brighton Youth Orchestra and the Sussex Symphony Orchestra strings. Nicola is always looking to develop a love of playing in all her students. Orchestras she works with include the LPO, RLPO, Brighton Philharmonic, Cinematic Sinfonia, English Chamber Orchestra, St Pauls Sinfonia, British Sinfonietta, Opera de Bauge, Liceu Opera, Orchestra of St Pauls and Dartington International Festival Orchestra.
