Annabel is a pianist and teacher of music theory, currently living in Guildford. She is studying a 4-year degree in Music Performance (BMus) at the University of Surrey, aiming to become an in-demand professional performer and established teacher of music. She has been playing piano since she was 5, violin since she was 7 and has been an avid performer ever since, gaining grade 8 distinctions in both instruments and playing in orchestras, string quartets and vocal ensembles. She has also sung in iconic venues such as St Peter’s Basilica in Rome and St Mark’s Basilica in Venice and has taken place in masterclasses from Nick Pendlebury, the head of the String Department at Trinity Laban Conservatoire of Music and Dance (TL) and Ruth Nye MBE, an Australian pianist and teacher.
Annabel has furthered her musical skills by participating in a summer course at the String Academy summer school at Yehudi Menuhin school, TL and at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival, playing in group ensembles and as a soloist. She is currently working towards performance diplomas. In addition, Annabel participates in many non-academic societies such as Gospel Choir, String Orchestra, Gymnastics, Dance and Jazz Orchestra.
