Andrew – cello teacher

Andrew is a highly experienced soloist and orchestral player who uses his musicianship as his main tool in teaching. Andrew is studying for his BA in music at the University of Oxford with both an academic and instrumental scholarship. He is currently the principal cellist of the Oxford University Orchestra, having previously spent two of his five years at the National Youth Orchestra of Great Britain as Co-principal cellist. During his time at the NYO he ran workshops in schools up and down the country engaging pupils in music from all types of backgrounds. Andrew believes an encouraging and positive environment achieves the best outcome when teaching.
