Small Groups

The groups run on an informal basis and allow children to play in groups of around 4-6, working on a variety of projects. Styles such as rock, pop, jazz and classical have been visited this term, alongside developing fun techniques such as improvising and scat-singing.

The groups are open to all ages and abilities and are a great opportunity to experience the benefits of playing in a group as well as a chance to make new friends. Groups are open to both new and exisiting pupils and are supervised by an experienced tutor. Please do get in touch if you are interested in joining a group or would like to host one in your home. 

Summer Schools

There are various short music courses for children running during the August holiday. These include small group Ensembles, music listening groups and training specific to particular instruments.  Call anytime for more detailed information regarding prices, dates and course content.  

Concerts

Every term Susanna Cassam Music Tuition holds Concerts in various venues that cater for musicians of all ages and abilities. They offer a great opportunity for our pupils to play their pieces to an audience and are extremely popular with children and adults alike. It's also entirely free choice and the mix of music new and old really adds to the variety of the day!
